Jacob E. Halsey, 37 of Lambertville, MI, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 13, 2016.  Born April 24, 1979, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Thomas and Chris (Lowe) Halsey.  A 1997 graduate of Bedford High School, Jacob was a self employed carpenter.  Jacob was a member of Westgate Chapel in Toledo.  He enjoyed camping, canoeing, water skiing, helping other people and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Jacob is survived by his loving parents, Thomas and Chris Halsey; brother, Nathan Halsey; sisters, Rachel (Jake) Bullard and Joy (Josh) Day; grandmother, Martha Lowe and 7 nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford Dr, Toledo, OH 43615.
